That is odd. Who renames a jpg like that because of hotlinking?

Are the Firecrab comics anywhere safe? I'd like to host them.

Why is there a fat chic playing piano in my post? It used to be a bottle of gold-schlonger.....

The world is Pinback's oyster! He doesn't give a shit about Firecrab any more!

Why not a special edition of Firecrab to commemorate Clash Day 2009? It doesn't even have to be huge!

Maybe we can have one more Firecrab? For old time's sake?

by AArdvark » Wed Jun 18, 2008 4:26 pm

I tried like hell to find the 'right' Beetle Bailey strip to use and all it did was numb my brains from reading absolute crud. maybe Bloom County or Dilbert or something. Starting out with a comic that's good, and changing the dialog, will only make it better.

Can you do it? Please? Or someone?

by AArdvark » Wed Jun 04, 2008 6:04 pm

What would happen if the dialog was transferred from Firecrab to some other boring comic strip? just for laughs, take a recent strip and change it to Dennis the Menace or Fred Basset.

I'd almost pay to see Fred Basset say 'Ego Porn.'

Good call, Jonsey, you were right on the money!

HUGE!

HEY! 5/12 was GOOD! Please to be saving the strips so in some future far beyond the realms of mortals (next year, perhaps) we would be able to download them in bulk and peruse them at leisure.

I will tell you this:

The pictures will never, ever, EVER change. Not one pixel. Even if I become to really regret the way I designed the last panel, which has already pretty much happened.

That is the way it is, and the way it will always, always be.

POST COUNT = POST COUNT + 1

by AArdvark » Mon May 12, 2008 4:36 pm

Now, is this aforementioned comic strip the kind where the images do not change from day to day? Like that dinosaur one Beetle Bailey? I mean, I like crustations and cheese and all and I assume that the topics will range far and wide, but static images are what killed Xerox.

As an employed former newspaper comic author, wouldn't a step to the WEB be a step backwards for me?

Onwards! To 50,000!
