Don't they all just go by gamertags now?

I can't watch how fast they build shit. It's like split second choreography. My kid could do that but not as fast. I had to keep the full color chart in front of me and refer to that.

Anyhows, I am guessing that the real answer to the question is: nothing.

My guess is that they will keep playing SC1 professionally long after SC2 comes out.

Well, if you can't differentiate them that way, then how about by last name?

I'd tell you which players were the best but they all look exactly the same.

No wonder I always got my ass handed to me when I played online...

It's not a gameshow, it's their "national sport". It's like the NFL is here.

How are the S.Koreans professionals at Starcraft? I mean, does it pay?

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Wed Jul 01, 2009 9:17 pm

Suicide, I think?

Audience: "oooooooohhhhhhh"

I guess the question, for me, is whether or not anyone at Blizzard paid attention to how much the South Koreans were losing their shit regarding the original Starcraft. Did they take the time to figure out why that nation of people loved their game so much? Did they know? Did they care? It's perfectly legitimate if they don't care. I guess.

How will the upcoming release of StarCraft II affect the professional StarCraft gaming scene in South Korea?

Discuss.
