I think you could take him. (In a fight.) (But also as a governor.)
I doubt it. I have something like carpal tunnel in my right wrist; I have a lift capacity of maybe 3 pounds before the pain kicks in. And I can't bend my right wrist at all. Also I'm in a wheelchair because my knees are not load bearing. Also, I'm in Maryland, not Minnesota. But I've considered running for public office on occasion.

Right now I'm taking Election Judge duties for Prince George's County. An election judge is one of those irritating bureaucrats that make you stand in line to wait while they take forever to find you in the pollbook so you can vote. Hey, it pays $200 for a couple hours the night before the election for set up, plus 6:30 am to about 9:30 at night on the election day. For taking the training class and working both the primary and general elections I get an additional $50. So $450 for 4 days work is pretty good. And since it's less than the Social Security minimum ($650), they don't have to withhold anything.

I also got "Spider Lockheart." He used to play "defensive back" (accurate as always, Wiki) for the Giants. He died of a coward's lymph in 1986.

You know how baseball card sets had like 700 players, and for football, we were lucky to get 8 players per team? I read the backs of hundreds of football cards until I found a guy who shared my birthday, and then I made sure never to trade that card. However, I am pretty sure I lost it sometime after the Earth lost Mr Lockheart.

I've always been happy with my celebrity birthday twins: Layne Staley, Tori Amos, Cindy "Shirley" Williams, Valerie Harper, GZA, Vernon Reid, Bill Parcells, Ray Bradbury, John Lee Hooker ... and Norman Schwarzkopf.

One of my good friends was born a day later than me (8/23) and he gets some good ones too: Kobe Bryant, River Phoenix, Shelley Long, Rick Springfield, Keith Moon, Barbara Eden, Ray Park, Gene Kelly ... and Henry Lee Lucas.

They both are, or were, doable. I could be in worse company, I could share a birthday with any given poster on this fucking board, how's that?

Yeah, but also with Jeneane Garafolo, so that kinda cancels it out.

"Harry Houdini was born in Budapest, Hungary. A copy of his birth certificate was found and published in The Houdini Birth Research Committee's Report. (1972).[2] As to his birth date, from 1907 onwards, Houdini claimed in interviews to have been born in Appleton, Wisconsin, on April 6, 1874. He was really born on March 24, 1874."

So tonight I went from thinking that I shared a birthday with the coolest guy of the 19th century (name a cooler guy in five seconds FOUR THREE TWOONE you can't) to sharing it with NOBODY.

I'm going to find someone born on March 24th and kick them in the testicles/uterus. This is how people get PUNCHED IN THE STOMACH WHILE THEY'RE NOT EXPECTING IT.
