I'll google the Boosh?

A guy at work had a Google shirt on Friday. It had the URL there for Google. Jason Scott made a funny comment when we were talking about Google doing some advertising at another convention. Google. LOOK US UP ON BING. Okay you unfeeling worms it was hilarious whilst on a diet of Red Bull, little else.

I watched the fourth episode of Ugly Americans. I would have laughed at the execution of the Vietnamese guy (you know the one). I did laugh at the reworked-so-as-not-to-incur-licensing-fees of a Journey song. Oh, and the part where they talked about bad four-letter words, like CENSORED, CENSORED and "Jewy."

This is a perfectly fine show but I wish they would hire someone like Patton Oswalt (who the main character sounds like anyway) or another comedian or Ben Parrish to liven things up. It could be really good, and I'm sure none of those people would want to work on that show and Comedy Central is going to cancel it anyway, so there we are, there we remain.

I 2nd you Robb, Ugly Americans worth some time

I recently started watching as well and got your back on this one. Of course, it has a zombie so that is cool. Comedy=decent, but not as good as The Mighty Boosh Robb. I am telling you, google that shit!

On the subject of good TV shows

May I suggest The Mighty Boosh...

Robb, you may like it with that Scottish accent you try all the time. Try it, you will want to wear it as underpants after watching, I promise. Lot's of jokes about being punk! You are a punk, punk!

So I guess this all makes sense now.
That stings. It stings, it hurts and it's upsetting.

A comedy without jokes is not "fine". But I'm glad you enjoy it. I think you probably think it's "clever", which is all well and good, but clever without funny is like listening to a bunch of... well, it's like going to Caltrops.

OK, I watched the last one. I think the show is perfectly fine, they just need like one more writer to spice it up with some more jokes.

They've done good work here.

Also, I'm sorry I called you names. Will you forgive me?

The guy's got some girl trouble. Maybe he's not in the mood for making jokes right now?

Do you agree that most tv shows get better after the first season? Is that still true? I forgot to watch episode 3 even though I have it recorded, I'm going to watch it RIGHT NOW.

The lack of "humor", I would say. I would say that is my (and virtually every critic review I have read) main problem with it. The fact that it isn't "funny".

What part about it don't you like? The art? The voice acting? The setting?

It sucks.

I saw a tv show and didn't hate it

It's called "Ugly Americans." It's drawn like a college zine and considering I saw the second episode ever and television tends to get better after a tiny while, I'd say it was pretty good. I'm not going to look up reviews though, because reading about ugly Americans in the other way makes my blood boil and I'm trying to keep a level head here.

Anyway, I liked it.
