My mom has a terrible memory. Can you post a picture instead?

That's already a name for something. Ask your mom.

What do you call a joke where you're the only person who gets it? I know that doesn't make any sense. Like for example, let's say for some reason you traveled to Japan and you were hanging out with a bunch of people and you saw something that was only funny to Americans? And then you would laugh and nobody else there would think it was funny, and trying to explain it just made things worse. Does that experience have a name? It needs a name, I think.

In this case, "Japan" was Digital Press, a game forum I've been frequenting for almost a decade. So I'm over in "Japan" and this conversation is going on about writing FAQs. I think it started with a GTA4 FAQ and then migrated (as forum conversations do) to other topics like FAQ writing and eventually the topic of the worst FAQ of all time comes up. And then someone links to an FAQ on Pong, which I thought was hilarious, and then I click on the link and see that it was written by Pinback, which made me laugh and spit my Vanilla Iced Coffee out.

So yeah, I was an American in Japan. I think this phenom needs a name and I will name it somehow after Pinback.

Maybe it's called Pinback Mountain. Or a Double Pinback, or something.

The point of this story is , Pinback owes me $2.14 for another iced coffee. Not that I spit it all out, but they don't sell it by the mouthful. OR DO THEY. (No they do not.)
