Jesus christ, the last thing you need to do is leave the house even less. A 500 lb man ordering banquet dinners to be delivered? Just kill yourself already.

Giant Food of Maryland operates a delivery service in the Washington, DC region under the name of Peapod. They allow you to set up an account, you pay by credit card or Giant Food gift card, you select what you want from their website including quantities, then you checkout and pick the delivery time. They add about $7 for delivery and sometimes have discounts.

It's a nice system, it's a bit expensive over shopping in the store as they express convenience and don't really try to push savings. Safeway also runs a delivery service as well.

Something I bought was Banquet Chicken Pot Pies, at about $1.25 each, take about 5 minutes to microwave, and Marie Calendar's Beef Pot Pies, at about $3.50, but they are a lot larger and take 10 minutes to nuke.

I decided to have two of the Banquet pies, and since they are with me, Ben, you cannot have these pies!
