Someone once pointed out that if you are buying something you don't want, don't need, or can't use, or have no interest in, it doesn't matter how cheap it is.

I looked at this package and I haven't the slightest idea what the games are about or what they are.

I watched the video and I get the impression Gemini Rue is some sort of side scroller.

I'm also trying to understand something, that game has its own website where it's for sale for $12.95. Which doesn't make a whole lot of sense unless this is the demo version of that game. Or maybe it isn't. I'm not sure if I understand this.

Well, it looked interesting, and I decided, well, it ain't that much, I've wasted more than this on some things. But I decided to be reasonable, and since my "name" is Tansin Arogan Darcos, I decided to pay $6.66.

Or I would have. Fuckin' paypal has my credit card number on file, but it's not verified so it can't use it. Hell, can go to Google Payments and use a credit card for a one-time payment. But noooooo, can't do that. Paypal has to run a charge of $1.85 or so (which they will refund) and then there will be a transaction number I can give them to verify the number is mine. Then I can use my card.

Scumbags.

Amazon.com would be out of business if they pulled this kind of shit to prevent you from buying things.

Update: I was able to tell Paypal to let me use my card as a guest and skip using my Paypal account. That worked.

Update: While I'm trying to download the files, I had to change directories and create one. Now the download key has expired. Who the hell creates an access key that expires in less than ten minutes?

Update: Tried again, got a similar message. Tried having it send me a re-issue of the authorization message. That seemed to work. I dowloaded the items.

The only think I wasn't sure about was whether to download the 3 games that run under Steam or download them. But I decided, Steam does all the bookkeeping and installs and everything, let it handle it.

But I tell you, now I know why they're offering it in this low-cost method, it's because of the irritation you have to go through to pay for it! :)

I purchased this just to get 1893: A World's Fair Mystery, but all these games look interesting.

I haven't tried all of them, but the intro to "Metal Dead" is fantastic. For those that haven't purchased the bundle yet; it's an extra, so you'll have to pay slightly more than the $0.99 minimum, but it's worth it!

I already bought Ben there Dan that and Time Gentlemen off Steam for about 3$ a while back, otherwise I probably would have grabbed this. Haven't finished the first of those 2 yet.

I put up six bucks, so I feel six times as smug as someone who put up ninety-nine cents, but these games are also worth more than six bucks, so there ya go.

I'd get it just for the 1893 Colombian Exposition game.
