Did you ever see the movie Thief with James Caan? After he tells the mob guy Leo that he had agreed to do one job, and one only, and he is to be paid in cash, Leo comes back, busts up his place, kills his friend, then tells him that he is only done if Leo says he is. And makes several other threats.
What was interesting was the the reason Leo met him was that he came into one of their offices, at gunpoint, and told the guy to give him the money that one of his people had promised for a job he did, since they had the merch he stole, or that he'd basically come back and kill them and everyone they know. Sort of like a miniature version of Keyser Sose.
And despite this, Leo doesn't seem to remember that the guy made a credible threat before. Soon after, Leo never remembers anything again.
This lawyer is a pussy and he's the kind of guy you can make that kind of threat to, without worrying that he might come back and pop a cap in your ass, the way Walter White did (after a lot of work) to Gus for the same thing.
