1. I'm in my new house with nothing to do, and great internet.
2. I loaded up Steam to see what was new.
3. That VERY DAY, CS:GO had been released.
4. Okay, sure! I loved Counter-Strike! BOUGHT.
MINI-REVIEW:
It's virtually identical to the original CS, with these exceptions, that I can remember:
- The graphics are evolutionarily better.
- There is a mini-map, which I don't think the original had?
- There are some different weapons/grenades.
- There are a couple new "retard mode" modes which are less about tactics and more like Quake death-match goofiness.
Other than that, it feels and plays and sounds exactly the same as the original game which I played TO DEATH PUN INTENDED back in the day.
In other words, it's the greatest game of all time and everyone should buy it and play it with me. God, I'm awful at it. I used to be good. I used to be okay at it. It's very sad.
But it's still great.
