I know for a fact several of those are toasty, as I ran across the same list in '00 and tried a few for the hell of it (yes I've been terribly missing the yesteryears of local BBSing). *sigh* I WANT DOOR GAMES *weeping like a two year old in the throws of a tantrum*

I liked how Tracy kept the line up there on how it was formerly the "Cooplist," even though, if I remember right, he had maintained it for a far longer time than the original Cooplist and that he had added several new features. Heh.

I wish I could have been one of the last sites there. For whatever reason the computer that I ran JC on back in the day would just hang for no adequately explored reason starting around the fall of 1998. It wasn't a big deal when I was living in Rochester, as I'd just call someone up and ask them to reset it. (I'd notice it regularly, as well, what with it being a local call.) But when I moved out here I checked it less frequently and my parents would get agitated when I called simply to ask one of them to reset the PC. It's safe to say that they hated the existence of that bulletin board ever since the first day it opened for whatever reason and practically did a jig in the streets when it was finally shut off for good.

I stumbled across this today - kinda scary what's still out there...

BTW - I think only older Rochester, NY area people would get a kick out of this....
