Yeah, apparently my mum and da's electricity is still out. The lines in the backyard went down, so who knows how long it'll be before someone can fix it.

Good thing I'm in Boston, where we only have to worry about dirty bombs and such.

Yeah, I guess Mom and Dad got power restored today. Course, Bob threw his arm out trying to start the generator.

Believe me, the comedy of there being a giant, energy-crushing ice storm literally a DAY after I expressed the sentiment that I would like to maybe move back isn't lost on me.

Those of you who don't watch the weather channel and are looking for Rochester and surrounding area replies will have to wait some. We got another Ice Storm on Thursday night and many people are still with out power, mainly on the Eastside. RG and E says maybe all will be back up by mid week.
