I have this old scanner with a 'transparent media adapter'. I want to scan all my old photo negatives so I can blow some of them up into 8 X 10s.
Windows 7 killed the software for me. I used to be able to do this almost effortlessly with Win XP. Now, not so much. There has to be a way to scan 35MM negatives without actually buying third party software or building some crap adapter thingamajig like I saw on Make.com.
I am almost on the verge of bringing my negatives to Kinko's and letting them do it while I go for coffee. In retrospect, it's probably my best plan of action as I will never get the clarity I desire from a home scanner.
Thoughts?
