Seriously though, roasted brussels sprouts are great: olive oil, pepper, a little chipotle and a bit of cream on top afterwards and its awesome.

Oh... Also:

Trader Joe's 90/10 lean beef: 4 out of 10 stars.

Edible, but even going medium rare the beef was still dry.

I still got recipes featuring vegetables. How about a nice hash, ease back into this slowly...

All of the the masquerading aside, when and what is the topic of the next cooking video?

Yeah. "Nobody can get no sleep / There's someone on everyone's toes / But when Quinn DeAngelo gets here / everybody's gonna wanna doze."
Hey, fella, don' be tryin' to take credit for what I say, you lying fat fuck!

Hey, Public Relations Flack, Don't be listenin to ol' Ironside over there, he don't have the slightest idea of what he's talkin' about.

I just basically tried to create a nom-de-plume but Bradley Tz-Full-of-Shit-ska figured it out and turned on an IP ban that Jonsey left up for several weeks. I just decided to be something opposite of my usual speech patterns, I referred to everyone as "Fella."

One time Ben talked me into doing a nom-de-plume on a BBS run by his friend Michael Raugh in addition to my regular posts as Tdarcos. My "real name" was Lester Snow, my login name was "Snow* Emergency Route" and I signed every post "Snowstar."

Unfortunately, my ability to pretend to be someone else wasn't very good, Michael figured it out.

What if I promise never to ban you from either this site or Caltrops?
I probably deserved being cut off, I just decided to act like an asshole as Quinn DeAngelo since Bradley Svekta had decided to find a ridiculous reason to ban me no matter what I did, short of not posting at all he was going to cut me off. So there was no reason to play by the rules, because there were no rules, it was simply the unfathomable madness of a psychotic asshole, possibly worse than Ray Gordon from Usenet newsgroup alt.seduction.fast. And I don't mean me.

I could answer your question about the videos but I can't do it in ten lines and since I can't post a second message in a row I'm unable to respond at this time.

I have bought toys from Dollar Tree before that broke because I opened the packaging too forcefully. I have also bought sodas that were flat and chips that were stale. I wouldn't eat a steak from a restaurant next door to a Dollar Tree on the chance that the meat might have come from there.

I just had a conversation with a coworker today who said that he always bought the cheapest hot dogs because, what's the difference. What's the difference? The difference is one is made from meat and one is made from lips and assholes? Drop the extra fifty cents and splurge!

$4.30 per pound for 95% lean beef at Trader Joes - goes great as part of a taco salad (which surprisingly was easy enough to spice).

by Flack » Wed Oct 23, 2013 6:28 am

Do not promise that.

Paul, what do we -- Jolt Country -- have to do to get another cooking video?

I'm sure that every cut of meat sold at Dollar Tree is USDA approved, fresh and was not raised on cat chow. You know what would make great video content? A Go-Pro on the front of a rascal scooter in a Dollar Tree!

That prices them at $4 a pound.
How big are they?

Meat at The Dollar Tree? MEAT AT THE DOLLAR TREE? What have we come to?

Not beef, but Buy For Less has ribeyes on sale for $4.99/pound. We bought four or five last weekend and grilled them.

by RetroRomper » Thu Jul 11, 2013 10:48 pm

I'm defrosting ground venison at this precise moment as part of an "epic sandwich" that I'll be constructing with a friend. Not ground beef, but its going to be delicious!

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Thu Jun 13, 2013 9:19 pm

All right, back to the beef. What are all y'all paying? What can I expect to pay?

Hey! We resemble that remark, and think it's unfair! It being true doesn't mean the four of us can't object to it. Or is it six, some weeks I have too many personalities.
