I walked past a middle school on Nov. 5th that was holding elections to local office... On some level I'd like to run for city / county level position as that is a true political investment (as opposed to worrying about the national stage), but on the other hand... Politics.

Hey though, if five or six creationists in Texas can join a school board and mess with textbooks for the entire country, then maybe it'd be worth it.

Yay. I have a pretty little "I voted" sticker. I did NOT vote for Sheriff, neither one of them struck me as someone I'd like in office. Reviewing the City Counsel and School Board candidates make me think I might like to run a few years down the road.
