The good news is that, yes, Jizaboz still runs a Quake 2 server for Jailbreak.

The bad news is that there may only be a Windows DLL for it.

The forum "fixed itself." My host didn't do anything. I think it's the search function. What else could have long-lasting queries?

Forum's back after no more than fourteen hours downtime. Nice going to whoever prodded the tech support guys into looking at it and fixed the other relevant problems when they could've been doing weekend shit.

If you have shell access just restart mysql and it should be fine. I'd guess pointy doesn't close all its connections properly but I don't want Stew to rip my balls off so let's just say it's a random DDOS.

Caltrops (http://www.caltrops.com/pointy.php) is down, I am sad to say. I have a message into support. Here is a fun thread where you can talk about Caltrops.

The last similar error was in October 2013. I don't think it's our host.
