Hm, it's out of beta though. It's on Steam as a normal game. Betas and such are in the "Early Access" program, Broken Age isn't in that, it's a full release game:

(Yeah, if you look at my Steam account you won't the game there... so how do I know that it's not bad? Well, I blame my low morals and that I don't intend to dish out 23€ ($31) for a 3-4 hours game...)

This is only the first act of the game and only available to people who either backed them on Kickstarter barkers or have pre-ordered the game and have "early access" to it (or know of an appropriate website without any morals).

Not sure what the release schedule is for each individual act, but the full game itself should be available this summer.

Uhm, they've spent 1000 billion dollars for THIS? A 4 hour game?

Not that it's bad, but WHERE DID THE MONEY GO?

The puzzles feel kinda like I'm matching the square whole with the cube, circle with the sphere, etc. Maybe the first act isn't a good indicator, but the puzzles have never led to a moment of frustration nor that kind of pleasant brain tingling Grim Fandango or Maniac Mansion brought to me.

The game completely feels as if it is catering to an audience who want nostalgia and none of the difficulty normally associated with Grim Fandango or Monkey Island.

Do the puzzles suck? Are they any good? Do you feel like you are the Puzzle Master, puzzling out puzzles?

It's good. Really good. Finally someone figured out how to make an adventure game that doesn't suck. (It's also possible that Schafer knew all along.)

It's not [i]perfect[/i], but if all adventures were this good I wouldn't complain. About anything.

(Also, I think it's the real thing now, not beta anymore.)

Any of you guys try the BROKEN AGE yet?!
