[RECIPE] Palo Alto Breakfast Bowl

The original Palo Alto thread was moved to Best Of and locked, which I don't quite understand either of those choices, but whatever. The last post in it has me receiving my 64 oz jug. That was in February 2014.

I actually ended up using probably less than 1/4 of it, and then it sat. And sat. And sat.

Just a week or two ago, in July 2015, I decided to start using it again, and since then, I've nearly emptied the rest of the jug. Which proves two things:

1. Hot sauce never goes bad, refrigerated or not.
2. Palo Alto sauce is still the most addictive, versatile, pour-on-everything hot sauce I've ever had.

I use it for literally every meal I have around here, but my all-time favorite is this breakfast, which I will now give you the recipe for:

BEN'S FAMOUS PALO ALTO BREAKFAST BOWL, WHICH ISN'T A GREAT NAME SO WE'LL HAVE TO COME UP WITH SOMETHING BETTER
=================================
1/2 cup cooked white rice
1/3 cup refried beans
2 eggs
Shredded cheddar jack cheese
Sour cream
Palo Alto sauce (either variety)

1. Top the rice with the beans.
2. Cook the eggs over easy, sprinkle cheese on top to melt.
3. Top rice/beans with eggs.
4. Top all that with a blob of sour cream.
5. Top all of that with as much Palo Alto sauce as you want.

Cheap, easy, simple, and without question one of my top five favorite meals of all time.
