I wanted to make one more comment in this thread.

Retro had been away for a while. I am glad he is back.

My instinct, when I viewed this thread, was to suggest games that would carefully produce a greater danger to whoever was playing them on a treadmill. I was going to suggest something that requires a lot of wires, like Rock Band, because those could get tangled in the treadmill. I was going to suggest Steel Battalion, because that game uses a unique, giant [url=https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=xbox%20game%20giant%20controller]controller[/url]. And then I was going to suggest Gone Home, because if he wasn't careful, he might find himself playing Gone Home.

I did none of those things. I wanted him to have one normal post where we welcomed him back.

Great thread by an even greater guy. OK, treadmill games. Love it, great idea. Let's stick with Steam and I'll add the following games that I would play if I were on a treadmill, which I (checks) (checks again) am currently.... not.

Since you're going in order, this one would only be played after you've had a chance to get used to gaming on a treadmill. Although your name is in the title, I feel that twin stick shooters require treadmill experience, because both hands are occupied and that can be dangerous if you misstep.

Mostly because it *must* be good and there is so little to do at the start that burning off calories on a treadmill would make that bearable.

My understanding is that this the game where you cast the spells by speaking into a microphone, like a real wizard would. This means that your hands are free and I feel this is vital on the treadmill.

All of the above assumes the treadmill is moving, I just realized. If you're just ON the threadmill, then I cross these out and counter with Typing of the Dead.

I found a pretty great deal on a treadmill desk, so after plunking down cash I'll likely never see again, am now waiting the five or six days for the 150 pound monstrosity to arrive from Salt Lake City.

To serve as an excuse for me to acclimate to it by actually walking on it, I've been collecting games that interest me and sitting on them so that I can spend 9 hours a day walking while playing. So far they include (in order of OH MY FUCKING GOD I AM EXCITED TO PLAY THEM:)

1. Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak
2. Legend of Grimrock 2.
3. Dreamfall Chapters
4. Tharsis
5. The Witness

Any other games you chaps think I should add or prioritize over the ones I listed? And yes, I'll be playing them in the order listed.
