You should be careful when jumping to conclusions. My parents broke up when I was fairly young, probably before I was 7. I was raised by my mother for the whole time.
I was a child of the '60s, and back then, the relative cost of living was low and a woman working as a waitress in a busy city could make a decent living on tips. And back then it was fairly common for people to move to other parts of the country.

My mother had excellent credit all of her life; she financed at least one car when I was around 10 or so, and to the best of my knowledge she never skipped out on bills. I remember, because we had moved around a few times but every month she mailed in the payment coupon. We gave notice whenever we moved, and we did pay our last month's rent when we moved from California in 1987. I know, because I was the one to buy a money order and give it to the rental agent. He was sorry to see us go, because we'd been there for about eight years.

Where did I say I drank gallons of Mello Yello (you spelled the name wrong). I said I had consumed that product, but I'm talking about maybe one bottle every couple of months, mostly when a place didn't sell a similar drink.
And where the hell did Ding Dongs come from? Where exactly did I
ever say I ate those? Exactly where did I ever even mention them? What makes you think I ate those?
See, this is what happens when your only form of exercise is jumping to conclusions. Proclaiming facts not in evidence, and which are complete bullshit on your part, is a quick way to get laughed at.
