You guys are so wrapped up around a given film being something you can get your rocks off to.
I happen to like action movies. More, I happen to like buddy cop movies. Say what you will about that genre, there's a plot, which is something missing from There Will Be Blood and The Master. That's right: as much as you feel those are amazing, ground-breaking movies, they don't actually have a plot. They are "biopics."
And I think Lethal Weapon 2 is the best buddy cop movie ever made. So there ya go.
Similarly, with Re-Animator. Best horror movie I've ever seen, and I give it an enormous amount of credit for not using any screamers and for not having any computer graphics. (Oh, hell, maybe it does, but I doubt it. I didn't look it up or anything.)
You guys even admit to wanting to just having 15 movies from guys with the initials P.T.A. there. I'm at least trying to span genres, people.
