OK. I ended up having the pillcase that I was using confiscated in part by the TSA when I flew to New Orleans. What happened was that I was using a cigarette case, and the case contained a lighter. (This was something I bought off Etsy.) TSA people -- in the past and with other, similar pillcases of mine -- have seen the lighter and freak out. I show them that the lighter has never had gasoline in it and they let it go.
Wellllll I just assumed that the lighter in this case didn't have lighter fluid in it. The TSA drone clicked it, and it started right up. So I guess I give them credit for doing their job, if you buy into the fact that they are even remotely necessary, which of course they are not. I had to chuck the lighter. Which is fine, but the way the case was created, the lighter was the "top" of the case. So now the pills can all fall through.
What do you mean when you say 'keeps the mints in line'?
If a pillcase is too deep, the various pills and mints will collect in the bottom of it. An ideal pillcase is just tall enough so that one layer of ibuprofen and Altoids fit, but they can't stack on each other.
I'll attempt to sketch something out in the coming days. Thank you for even considering this!
