I voted for the flats. It's because we are elite in certain things and very much not elite in other things.

Oh, absolutely. We're all big fans of both pieces. If I was served a plate with ONLY flats, I'd be disappointed.

But if I was served a plate with only drumettes, I think I would be more disappointed.

Can we come to an agreement on this? Please? I know that it infuriates you that the place many of us grew up have this weird "ownership" of a food that is now everywhere in the country. I want you to have it as well. I want us to be a team here.

So. Drumettes versus flats. I love them both, of course. I got groceries today and there is a chicken wing bar in the deli section of the Safeway I frequent. Someone had picked all the drumettes out, leaving only flats. I didn't mind. I put three flats in a bag and ate them for part of a small lunch when I got home. They could be flats all the time and that would be fine with me.

Do I prefer drumettes? Well..... maybe? But I mean, I guess what I like best is a 50/50 mix. How I also like my races.
