Billy's taste in games is at least equal to his taste in music.
I think it's unfair that you're attacking my taste in music here considering the fact that you locked my thread right around the time that my view count surpassed that of yours. I feel that the only fair thing to do would be for you to allow me to create a new list in that base "Billy Mays' Actual Top 100 Songs" and let the general public decide who has the better taste in music. Also, River Raid is dope.
I don't remember locking that thread. I do remember you running out of songs and putting a bunch of pro-American ones to get to 100 right after Trump won. He's been doing a great job, by the way. I'm okay with people not having enough content to fill out one of these threads, that's OK, and you ended it as well as you could given the circumstances. While I don't remember locking the thread, it is the sort of thing that people remember if it's done to you, so I will take your word for it.
Musical taste is very interesting to me. It seems like many of you want to make it this whole thing, but your arguments are going to come down to, "I don't like pop punk" in which case, great, but you can't argue someone out of that. It's why I titled my thread Favorites instead of declaring it a definitive list like I did with the games 10 years ago.
Every one likes River Raid and it's correct of you to come down on that side. I think we got off on the wrong foot for the 2600 discussion. 380 of the games created for the 2600 out of whatever the total was are unplayable nonsense intended to act as a babysitter for children. That's common ground I believe all of us would agree to. I mean, look at Donkey Kong for the 2600. One of the greatest games ever made it and looks like the insipid schizo scrawlings of a lunatic that learned Assembly. It's probably the only game in the world with worse graphics than A Crimson Spring.
