This is now an awkward thread where I reflect upon possibly having revealed too much.

I bow to your expertise, then.

The Boston Sports Guy was involved with one. But now I hate him because he's a typical Bad Fan Whose Team is Doing Well. ... Uh... my buddy Brian, who played "Porn," was involved with the ESPies and we met him in Vegas a few years back when it was there. I had an opportunity to say hello to 1993 World Series MVP Paul Molitor (but didn't) and Ving Rhames (but didn't) and Bobby Bonilla (but didn't as I am not a groupie)... there's my buddy efriendship with Ja Rule... the stories I heard from one guy on the Saints message board when the Saints grabbed their trophy from some ratty network regarding the play they scored a touchdown on as time expired against Jacksonville (and they lost the game due to the kicker missing the extra point)... uh... I guess that's it, really.

How many people do you read about who are associated with award shows?

He also said EA was planning an international awards show "similar to the Oscars and the Grammys" which would combine video games, music and movies.
Every person I have ever read about who was associated with award shows has been insane to the point of actually being socially crippled. Hurm!
