I've been drinking a lot of these things recently. They're terrific, and easy. That combo doesn't come along often.
Negroni
1-1/2 oz. gin
1-1/2 oz. sweet vermouth
1-1/2 oz. Campari
Build in any order in an ice-filled rocks glass. Stir. Garnish with a twist of orange.
Yep, that's it. And it's magnificent. The bitterness of the Campari balances the cloying sweetness of the vermouth. And gin is, well, just like mother's milk. Unless, of course, we're talking about KNuckles' mother, in which case it's more like cheap mezcal mixed with rancid lard with pubic hairs in it.
