Nobody knows who this is, but he was essentially the father of cognitive therapy, the strain of psychological thought which would eventually tie into and echo thousands-year-old proven Eastern remedies for suffering, and which I also credit for saving my life, in the figurative, if not literal sense. Nothing less than the key to human peace and happiness.
