Hails again
I am working on a ScottCom game that I will either burn to CD-r or pass along my game site for download... This will happen in a Garage Sale that my mum is hosting this week or next... The game will be free... And those in the Jasper area of Texas, please come, I want feedback about what you look forward in a classical/old skool style Text Adventure (my definition of a TA vs IF is that TA uses old interfaces and two word parsers, and is not really "highend")...
It will be a comedy game called RANGAR THE BARBARIAN:
You arrive to your house, where the bad guys, the Savage Hordes, stole your booze, and your woman! Now instead of treasures of gold and jeweled weapons, you have to get back the booze and the woman... When you get a jug of mead and a large bottle of ale, and then the woman, you win the game... Not too hard... But not too easy! If need be, it will be in three parts. For those who want to make their own Scott Adams type adventures, go to IFArchives.org... then go into Archives, and on to the Scott Adams root, and you can find lots of goodies... Dunno if Bunyon (which is the only interpreter to read ScottCom games) is Vista compatible...
Anywho HS!
