I would need to get together with you in person to shoot it. Which is fine, because I should do that anyway.
I want to challenge myself with a two hour game that still has characters the player cares about. I get very irritated with movies (and especially TV shows) that fail to do this and I want to see if I can do it better. Also, pacing the thing for a movie's length would be a nice experiment. Right now I don't have any restrictions in text games.
(I watched the season opener for CSI: Las Vegas the other night. It was the first show I sat down and watched in quite a long time that didn't involve either the Saints or Blue Jays, and I did this at the request of my sweetie. Not to give it away or anything, but the entire ending has William Peterson, a great actor, saying absolutely nothing when the fate of someone he cares about hangs in the balance. That kills me: there's been what, seven CSI seasons? It's been on for six years and now this one? And here is all the dialogue the writers could come up with:
"..."
I know I can do better than that in my medium. In fact, I have done better than that. I want Ben Parrish to be the captain of a ship that is finding itself stacked against incredible odds, and I want the dialogue to be better than, "...")
Personally, I would love the other characters to be played by Worm, Gerrit and my brother, but that's a long way off. So consider this me "planting the seed"!
