I have been thinking about this for a while and I decided to post it to Caltrops but I got no real responses. So I'll ask for some assistance, specifically as to other targets, places the current targets can go, etc.
You're fighting against enemies and your objective is to kill as many of them. Possibly you're a sniper shooting from rooftops, or you get extra points if you walk up and shoot them at close range, possibly triple score if you stab them. A "target spot" is a place that attracts the target you want to kill.
Might even have "safety spots" where it's unsportsmanlike to kill them, or that you can only kill them retail by stabbing, you can't use wholesale methods like sniping.
So consider the following:
- You're supposed to kill negroes, and popular target spots include watermelon patches and fried chicken stores. Are there other places?
- You're supposed to kill Jews, and popular target spots include Synagogues and stores selling bagels and lox. I'm not sure if there's a better term than "store that sells bagels and lox" I suppose "Kosher Butcher Shop" might do but I'm trying to think of others. Perhaps Chinese Food place, as Benji Steinberg from My Favorite Year said, "Jews know two things. How to suffer, and where to find great Chinese food." Oh, one of the things to throw at them are pork chops and sausage, then they die of non-kosher food poisoning and you get extra points.
- You're supposed to kill police officers, and popular target spots include police stations and donut shops. Also, like in Duke Nukem 3D, the cops look like pigs!
The only one I can't think of is the secondary target for muslims, mosques are good but what other places do they hang out at? And with the Jews, throwing non-halal food at them gives them food poisoning too. (Halal and Kosher food rules are almost identical.)
I'm also trying to think of target sites for Catholics and other splinter groups.
My intent is to make sure there isn't
any group that I don't offend in one way or another.
Oh, and there are several types onscreen at once, but you can't kill the wrong ones. If you're a cop killer, you can't target Muslims or Jews. If you go after Jews then you can't kill Muslims or Catholics or any other wrong ones on the screen.
I'm thinking of this being a parody game, something on the order of "I wanna be The Guy" in which everything is over the top, it's like, you just brush the guy and he has a fatal hemmorage all over the place. Add the nasty and vulgar terms for each group selected. It's supposed to be fun and becomes a parody against those people who complain about supposed violent video games. Like Bonnie Raitt, I'll give 'em something to talk about!
