Freedom Force Editor release

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Mon May 20, 2002 2:17 am

Details here, at www.modforce.com:
The Editor puts every aspect of Freedom Force under your control. It allows you to create your own missions and campaigns, add in your own custom characters, with their own unique powers and defences. You can alter attributes, add new object templates, supply your own voices and music, add visual effects to your actions, and more! This tool makes customization easy, so anyone can create custom multiplayer maps or singleplayer campaigns.
Truth to tell, I'd love to carve away a month and make a total conversion or "mission pack" for Freedom Force. Though it'd make me a giant hypocrite if I didn't let players bring whichever heroes they wanted on the various missions, I suppose.

Not sure if the FF community at large has posted any results from the editor's release, but they are no doubt coming soon. A lot of the pre-editor mods have done a good job considering the restrictions the FF game puts on you by default.
