It is worth buying a Saturn for. In a perfect world, the beauty of NiGHTS sells a few million Saturns, and we all are playing sequels to it right now. Sega's decision not to make a NIGHTS sequel for the Dreamcast at ANY point was utterly and totally indefensible.
But anyway. It's got linear level design, but doesn't take control out of your hands. It's the game that every rail shooter should have been, but didn't have the BALLS or COMPETENCE to be. I capitalized those words for EFFECT. If you have a copy of the game, run -- don't walk -- and get yourself a Saturn.
Or, I should say, since that piece of shit still hasn't paid you: steal a fucking Saturn from "The Game" and hook yourself up.
