Heavy D (I guess "Cholesterol G" was taken) died last week. He had gone to the doctor with flu-like symptoms the day before he died. Apparently after walking up a flight of stairs he got winded and collapsed, telling people around him "he couldn't breathe".
Apparently Heavy D was an all-around nice guy and a great promoter of rap music, but man ... I only know one of his songs and I hated it. It makes it tough to like an artist when you only know one of their works and you don't like it.
I was much more sad when the Human Beat Box died. Again, when you're in a group called "The Fat Boys", nothing good will eventually come of that.
