Um... er... high, there BBS. I guess I'll be your base monitor for this coming week. Hopefully, we can continue on with business as usual... so if someone could just tell me where you left off last week. Let me consult my lesson plan, here... ah! Yes!

Um... well, I'm just going by the lesson plan here. If your regular Base Monitor does things differently, let me know and we can work something out. But his notes are pretty specific, you understand.

I understand. I didn't at first.

But you're, of course, right. There is no way to separate "Worst Monday Ever" from simply a bad Monday. I should have realized that, and not tried to get all "meta" on you.

You have schooled me in a way that the original Base Monitor never has. For that, I tip my cap.

Well... um... that means... that means a lot to me. Especially with this being my first day on the job at all. Actually, this is my first gig since I graduated and, well... I just hope I can make a difference in one BBS poster's life, you know?
