I was like, famous actor, I never saw him in anything.
He was in Boogie Nights and Magnolia.
So apparently he was one of my favorite actors. HE WILL BE MISSED! (As of 30 minutes ago when I looked him up on IMDB.)
Am I a hero? I really can't say. But, yes.

You're thinking of Morton Downey.

There was a whole other half of an island if that prick wanted to go act for a different nation over there. I got no sympathy for him.

Re: I can't believe Tdarcos outlived....
Although he earned the nickname honestly, it's a shame most of the tributes to Biz Markie refer to him as the "Clown Prince" of rap. He was so much more than that. His vinyl collection (somewhere between 5,000 and 7,000 albums) was as massive as his knowledge of hip-hop. The guy hammed it up for cameras, but behind the scenes he was super knowledgeable, super talented, and super generous. Technics once made him a one-off set of scaled-down turntables for his collection of 7" single records. The guy was something else. He battled type-2 diabetes for years and apparently it got the better of him.

Re: I can't believe Tdarcos outlived....
One of my favorite Slipknot stories... the opening track on their first independent album ("Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat.") was called Slipknot. The song starts with two minutes of noise before kicking into a heavy, lumbering track. I've heard the story told a few different ways, but either a journalist or someone related to the studio suggested it would be a better opening track if it were a little faster, at which Joey Jordison decided to play the track roughly 4x as fast. The lyrics were rewritten and the song appeared as "(sic)" on their debut major label album.
Here's the original version (titled "Slipknot") from "Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat." This should start at 2:10, and you should hear all three major riffs by 3:30.
And here's "(sic)", the same song but sped up. It should start at the 34 second mark and you will have heard all the same riffs in about 30 seconds.
Slipknot is not for everybody and that's okay, but man was that guy something.

Yeah. Died in his sleep. I’d say most likely just old age. ZZ Top was my favorite band from like pre-school to 3rd grade lol

I'm just wondering if this thread is still valid.
