The demise of Twitter is funny to me.

Post by Ice Cream Jonsey »

Not the people losing their jobs, but everything else.

I was shocked how seriously people took Twitter. It really cemented how the "others" thought their opinions were so important and so precious. And ohhhh did they try to get people in trouble. That's all it became.

Elon Musk is an attention-starved idiot in over his head and he'll destroy the site. He is destroying the site. Again, feel bad for the H1-B Visa workers.

I agree with you entirely about every part of this, but Twitter is still up and everyone still links to it in every internet post in the universe (see: Caltrops). When Twitter and Myspace are in the same sentence, then I shall truly rejoice.
Am I a hero? I really can't say. But, yes.

I did notice that a lot of Gnews articles include Twitter posts. Unvetted and non-error corrected social media posts are not something anyone should take seriously. We are moving into National Enquirer news

Automobile accidents are fascinating, entertaining, and interesting - for the drive-by spectators. For the participants, not so much.

@on all change '-starved idiot' to ' whore'
@print
Elon Musk is an attention whore

That is more accurate. Calling Elon Musk an idiot is an insult to all self-respecting idiots, as it has not been proven his intelligence level rises to such lofty heights. I'll concede his intelligence level rises to sub-moronic levels, but not much higher than that.

If Putin had hired Elon Musk to run his war, it would have long-since failed and collapsed.

The National Enquirer has actually broke legitimate, real news storieas. The same has not yet been proven for The Twit. Whether 'the twit' refers to the company or its owner is an exercise for the reader.

Don't correct my posts. It sickens me.
I was pseudo quoting William Shatner during the voice sessions for one of the Star Trek games. He doesn't pronounce "sabotage" correctly.

I realize the Commander man not be aware of that reference. Thus this clarification.

I almost took you seriously; I was going to say, "It sickens you? Now? It took you until now to say something?" I'm glad I read further.

Now, for some reason I feel that was incorrect grammar, and should have been "Don't correct my posts. That sickens me." Now, let me do some research. 'Correct' in your sentence is a verb meaning 'To make something that was wrong become right.' Therefore the referent to it must be an adverb. Looking at the definitions of 'it' and 'that', I am more convinced that your usage was incorrect.

The definitions for 'it' have no usage as an adverb.
The definitions' for 'that' as an adverb:
Adverb: To a great extent or degree; very, particularly (in negative constructions) ("I'm just not that sick.")

It's funny, but I could not have said why it was wrong other than my internal checker said so. Now I can.

Actually, your statement should have read, "Do correct my posts. That enlightens me."

So, what are you doing Jack?
Well, I sat back and thought about the girls we used to screw
You really owed a lot to me, you owe a lot to me
I guess I really won't get that much cash from you?
I'm with a drunk girl
She's just a drunk girl
And this is true
Beer is good for you
Ooh, ooh, ooh, I'll have two

There was a quote of the post showing a National Enquirer headline "Top University Studies show drinking is good for you." So I decided to use the song to get in the lines, "Beer is good for you / Oooh, Oooh, Oooh, I'll have two."
