Re: Zomb's Lair
The estimated total number of released C64 games is all over the place. I've seen estimates from as low as 5,000 all the way up to 15,000. No matter which number you go with, it's a gigantic library to wade through and, based simply on the law of averages... not all of those games are good. Many of them are really, really bad... which is a great argument for curated collections like this one. 128 seems like a relatively small number of games, but at that number I can only assume they are all bangers. The "arcade" collection is a slightly larger collection of games. As the name suggests, all the games are "arcade-style" (ie: no RPGs or text adventures). One nice thing about the Arcade Collection is that all the disks have menus, so you simply need to load the first file on the disk (load"*",8,1) and you can pick which game you want to play from there.

Re: Zomb's Lair
I've been slowly removing all the non-English and really crappy games from my C-64 laptop. There seem to be a lot of type-it-in-from-the-magazine games and public domain programs that need to go
