Michael Brutman, of the brutman.com PCjr forum is hosting a PCjr birthday party on Wednesday, November 1st. More details to come. It will be the PCjr's 40th birthday and this is so silly that I think I have to attend.

Happy Announce/Birthday Party!

What: An informal get together to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the PCjr announcement.
When: Wednesday November 1st, 2023 6pm US Pacific Timezone
Where: Google Meet video conference. (Link to be posted closer to the event

Come hang out for a few minutes and toast the 40th anniversary of your favorite home computer!

Rough agenda:
Wait 5 minutes for some late arrivals
Say (but not sing) "Happy Birthday"
Maybe highlight some recent projects people are working on ...
Enjoy some random hangout time with your fellow PCjr afficionados.
If you want to highlight a project (hardware, video, documentary, etc.) let me know ahead of time .. I don't want to turn this into a PowerPoint party but a quick visual to display would be helpful. If you have other ideas for what we should do please suggest them here too!

As usual the link to the event will be posted on the same day; check back here for details. While I will be using Google Meet, no Google email address, advanced registration, or anything other than a web browser is required to join.

Facebook friends are welcome as well ... (But I don't have FB so I can't advertise it there.)
