The Simple Pleasures of Life

I will now note the lovely, simple pleasures of life as I encounter them.

* We had a snowstorm a week ago. A simple pleasure of life is first having a cup of coffee with creamer while the snow accumulates, and then going outside to brush it off the cars because it hasn't stuck to them.

* Taking a walk in the evening when it is still autumn and not early winter and hitting the steps goals for the day.

* Having breakfast at a Denny's with my nephew on a Sunday because we are going out to do something afterwards and it is simpler and easier to just get some eggs, fruit and toast there, so we go in and he basically tells me jokes and is silly for 30 minutes. If the claw game works on our way out, we try it, it usually does not work.

* Taking the dog to a park and seeing how happy she is when there is another high energy dog there that chases her. Reaching the moment where our dog is starting to get tired from running at full speed non-stop, which means she will be tired and night and I will be able to sleep easily.

These are some of the simple pleasures of life.

* Melatonin and an "early" bedtime on the fall back day.

* Running around a park telling my nephew I'm going to catch him, as he laughs and giggles.
