Honest question guys: What has happened to JC?

This at some point I didn't experience started as a group of guys who actually got together regularly in Rochester NY to play already retro games. By the time I engaged the "bring a computer and play together was fizzling but still this was a place of both brisk discussion and savaging each other.

Now, we each only post about what we're interested in and then there's the shit posters like Kingie who even for that purpose needs to up his game if he thinks he's ever gonna drive the weakest beta fuck away.

Not sure I've ever read an original thread by Kingie but that's a symptom of the rot going on. A guy who really just imitates the original shitposter, Pinback, is one of the last bothering with this.

Sure we're in our 50's but we all have at least 20 years (not sure about Flack but) here, shouldn't we agree to be better or else all agree we're mostly here for self gratification, familiarity, and pure laziness.

I have no idea what CO is on about. Sometimes real life has a way of throwing shit up that stops me from contributing here, and sometimes it's for years at a time.

I started 18 conversations about old video games to start the year and another one is coming later today, feel free to expand on any of those if you're looking for someone to "bring the content."

Because the absolute only reason I come here is for self gratification, learning about things guys like ICJ/Flack/Vark are up to, and the occasional shitpost fest, I don't give a rats ass if you're not interested but please at least be . . . INTERESTING.

Your answer to my post about completely OWNING a mealy manager boss was to agree with him which I FUCKING LOVE but you ruined it by leaning on a guy, BILLIONAIRE MARC CUBAN who would #1 not give a shit about either of us but #2 would respect the idea of making fucking ALPHA moves. This place used to be fun for both sharing things with similar minded folks leading to either a brisk discussion or a glorious shitpost fest. Now all we have is a thin lipped memory of what used to be and your shitpost is just exactly the problem with this "place". I can't remember the last thread you started about anything interesting, maybe they're all in the lower bases I barely remember to check. My point about how to handle job threats is a valid one and you may feel secure in your IT role but daily I talk to up to 10 IT folks unemployed after decades of service.

I don't care if you aren't interested or this "feign interest by sniping" is your actual character and I just never noticed you but you're lowering the shitpost bar here daily nowadays. It's like Ben has already stepped back and you're trying to fill the vaccum but all you can muster is a tiny whistle fart.
I don't hate you but at this point I can't recommend you for the role of replacing Pinback, we're gonna have to search for other candidates.

ICJ, I'd like to propose that if Ben dies we lock all the forums and go on with our lives. You Flack and Vark surely have facebook or maybe there could be a IRC channel but I kind of feel like this place has been listing since the tragic events of 2009.

Oh, yeah, when a stoogie turns into a gimp, that's something I'd like to cheer about. (after the most metrics detailed weekly report I've ever delivered, I'm not pretending to be smart asshole.)
