Back in Colorado
The trip was very nice: Forum Denizen Danzaland got married! To his lovely bride Courtney. The ceremony kicked ass, and was far shorter than I expected it to be, what with it being a Catholic wedding and all.
(I still remained silent when the Catholics all knew what to say in response to the Father and so forth. I was really hoping that I didn't know only because I was raised Methodist and not because Methodists do the same thing, only I never paid attention and learned. I can nail an "Amen," though, with the best of them.)
Lauren -- one of Chris's Canadian friends -- and I unraveled the aisle for the bride. We did not, in fact, mess this up. Which is sort of my goal for the wedding: escort who needed to be escorted, unravel the aisle, and don't mess up. Mission... accomplished!
The reception was a lot of fun as well. The best man (Jared), Lauren, Tony, Pat and I managed to get some of that shooty-string that comes in a can shot over towards Danza and Courtney when they were enjoying their Abbot's Wedding Ice Cream.
Tasty!!!
Did not get a chance to go to Nick Tahoe's, however. Ah, well. There is always Christmastime. And presumably, there will always be Nick's.
If Danza hops on this thread: congrats again, buddy, and thanks for having me up. I had a blast.

The white runner that goes down the aisle.Jethro Q. Walrustitty wrote:Unravelled the aisle?
I'm glad you had a good time, I think all who attended had a good time. We tried to do things different and not subject people to stuff WE don't like to do.... long service, bad cake, hence Abbott's, receiveing lines where you know nobody, sit you away from your parents so you can have a good time.
Not many posed pictures, mor candid pics... etc..
