Please read this, if you have game programming experience and might be interested in mentoring a very brilliant, yet inexperienced newbie towards the end of creating a game.
Not necessarily a game that could be sold for money, but a game which would resemble an actual finished product, which people could actually play, and possibly even enjoy.
