Marvel Knights: Spider-Man --- The Vulture
I think the Vulture is a black man in the current Marvel Knights series but my idiot friends think he's just "shaded" or "sinister."

Before, you always sort of felt bad for the Vulture because he was so old.Lamar Lamont wrote:I think the Vulture is a black man in the current Marvel Knights series but my idiot friends think he's just "shaded" or "sinister."

Now, with him being black, well, that's sort of a metaphor to how evil he's become, because he's black in color now. You're not supposed to feel bad for "this" Vulture.
This also works with Luke Cage, before and after it was revealed that he has tons of anal sex.

His family is black because they are black. No real mystery there.
If an Interracial Couple have children they can be black or white. It's all a grab bag, you know. This is the same Adrian Toomes that has been the Vulture for 42 years and appeared hundreds of times throughout the Marvel Universe.
He's White.

For 40 years the Vulture has been a VERY white man and now he is a "shaded" character. Can't be colored though, must just be shaded...Worm wrote:The Vulture was white in my Spiderman Cartoon Factory CD and on the (FOX then/ABC Family now) Spiderman show with the "Spider Blood, Spider Blood, Radioactive Spider Blood" theme song.

While searching the webs for a few panel scans to prove or disprove Lamont's claims, I did stumble upon this:

Seems Lamont isn't the only one who thinks the Vulture has turned black.
