Must have that game.. absolutely must have it. It's in pre order status right now but I can wait a little while longer.
I tried playing it on my emulator and it just isn't the game it used to be. It's like playing Doom 1 and not getting frightened like I used to. Need more..

Er...Don't really know. I haven't followed Sid's work except to see that he did something with civilization. I saw the pre order status of Pirates! and got very happy. Not..uh.. hand towel happy or anything, but a general warm fuzzy feeling all over.
Are there any other games from the C64, Atari 5600, XT era that have made a comeback? All I can think of is Wolfenstein.

So, have you gotcher Pirates! on yet, Varker? If not, I definitely reccomend it. Surprisingly close to the original (or at least the Gold edition I used to play), and 90% of the new stuff is improvement. I don't know how long I'll play it after the nostalgia wears off, but it's a good time thus far.
