Troika was pretty clever. Having an actual gawf modelling for a character that is horribly cliche(THE ACCENT MARK IS IN YOUR MIND) is probably going to earn them much praise once enough nerds google her name and jerk off to her actual pictures (rather than the game model).

I saw something this this weekend that made me feel better about nerds as a species. I was at my Uncle's house for Christmas (eve) dinner, and everyone was watching some marathon of one of those shows about guys who revamp old cars. Anyway, the host was some vaguely attractive hole or another. At various times over the show she would spout out these long strings of prefab car-talk. "You can see here, they're recombobulating the mustificator with a 6 inch felge wrench." I had no idea what she was talking about and, judging by her flat delivery, neither did she. Every once in a while there'd be a shot of her holding a power tool obviously just about to get to work on the car in her spotless blue jumpsuit. See, she's a greasemonkey! Just one of the guys!! HAHA!! No, she isn't. Here, Vitriola and any other female lurkers who haven't bee driven off yet, is your ticket to fame and fortune:

1. Be reasonably attractive.
2. Pretend to be interested in the minutia of some esoteric hobby that women aren't normally interested in.

Okay in the game VTM:BL there is a bipolar/multiple personality character name "Jeanette/ForgotOtherName". She has a healthy obsessed fan base who want guides on how to have sex with her in the game, make fan art, and probably beat it to her all the time. This character regardless being in the game for about four missions is the entire ad campaign. She has the box-shot, is in every ad, post, and wallpaper for the game. So on top of that some of the art was actually modeled off a girl who was Troika's boothbabe at e3 or whatever that shit is called. This girl is a professional hottie. She also has a website and forum. I'm calling the obession flood by the end of next month.

Really, I might delve into this whole nerd subculture if it leads to finding a DnD group that isn't busy with teen pregnancy and various horseshit. Also priceless is how it seems the shit immediately stops when fatty mcNylonRobe is in view.
