Request a Free Sample of Ipe Wood
Many of our customers are already familiar with Ipe, but others are just learning about this amazing wood. Sign up below and New Hemisphere will send you a FREE SAMPLE piece of Ipe wood. The Ipe sample measures 6 inches by 3 inches, and is 1/2 inch thick. While it is too small to feel how heavy Ipe actually is, it has the same smooth natural finish as our furniture and you can see the beautiful dark color and distinctive grain of Ipe wood.

Heh. I know a fair amount about ipe, though I've not worked with it yet. It's extremely hard, dense, and very rot resistant (much like some of the callers around here). Great wood for outdoor stuff (decks, steps, etc.). Plan on getting some next year when I rebuild the steps to our front and back doors.

Thanks for thinking of me though.....

Not much... same old shit. I gotta link this place to my homepage so I remember to come back here more often.
