I'm 50/50 on the idea as of now.

Could Ben really play the part of a line cook? In general, he's known for being the friendliest, nicest dude on the planet, but occasionally he will ignore you and act rather surly and mean should you rub him the wrong way.

That's a plus. Really, it is. A good line cook needs to have a wide range of emotions. Being overly excitable helps, too. This helps to keep servers in check and other back of the house staff members on their toes and ready for anything.

Oh, and don't forget, Ben's already a skilled culinary whiz in his own right. You've seen the recipes posted here. You may have actually even read some of them.

He's given us Authentic Philly Cheesesteaks, Kashmiri Chicken, Ben's Famous Vaca Frita with Ultimate Salsa #1. Also something called "Little Debbie Surprise". So its safe to presume he can easily handle a few Ruby Tuesday Super Samplers.

At any rate. I like Ben. I'm just not sure if this decision will make him happy. Will this make you happy, Ben?

Not a good idea if he wants to get back on the wagon anytime. Restaurant workers are some of the biggest lushes I've ever had the pleasure of drinking with every night of the week.

Well, for the purposes of discussion, let's say that that's not an issue.
Am I a hero? I really can't say. But, yes.

Booze? Well that's just a given. It's the crystal meth he's gotta watch out for. Yes, sir! It's the age of the uppers. Even if you're just snorting crushed up ephedrine tablets every half hour.

His other plan was to maybe get a job at an airport.

I hope that, no matter what he decides, he can finally try to be happy.

OK, actually I'm hoping for a dramabomb that will take out the entire southwest. I'm hoping for happiness, all right: mine.

Line cook where? National chain? TGI Parrish?

Or a one of kind restaurant

Welcome to Dangerfield's... where the food is good and the jokes better.

We can't give an informed opinion without details. it's all in the details. Without details there would be no issues. Give me details or give me Beth...(extra napkins, too)

I haven't heard anything about Ben's line cook desires. Are further details to be found on MANGO BAY?
