I have thus decided to no longer provide public coding services to anyone on IRC, because my work gets stolen and ripped anyways. It's fucking sad, I know, but you'd probably feel the same if you coded on something for a few days, it's something truely unique, and it just gets stolen because someone lies to you via private message.
The problems with FireFox are:
1. It's slow!
Everything in this browser is custom-coded and unoptimized for the supported operating systems. Avant and IE load up in 1 second, whereas FireFox takes 5 seconds.
2. It lacks features!
There is no real tabbed browsing until you install the right extension, and even then; the extension is rather unstable causing a crash every two hours.
3. They HIDE the good stuff...
All the IMPORTANT settings such as HTTP-Pipelining are hidden in their weirdo configuration editor which can be accessed with about:config -- have fun going through it...
4. It doesn't integrate!
FireFox will always be this little external browsing program. I can't just type an address in the "My Computer" window and get FireFox to open it. It'll always be IE.
5. It's not SAFE from Spyware!
A legit-looking application can still trick people to get itself installed... and if you can read and comprehend English IE is just as safe! READING dialog boxes is they key to safety here...
6. What's with the propaganda?
Why does this browser need NAZI-style campaigns? Why does it attempt to create a kind of e-3rd-Reich? Why do they need affiliate campaigns? Why do they need users to spam the links via E-Mail and Newsgroups? I don't see why a so called "superior browser" needs to be evangelized so much. If it's a good browser, wouldn't people use it naturally?
7. Comes with a library of bazillions of pointless extensions!
If the extensions would actually EXTEND the browser that'd be cool -- but no: all they do is add random gibberish to it, making it even slower. I don't want my browser to play MP3 files; I want it to be able to surf the web. I don't need to know when my tea will be ready; I have a decent sense of time to figure that out myself...

Haha, it's perfectly fine to be anti-Firefox. I don't think you get the impact of the opening. Complaining about someone stealing a MIRC script is like complaining about someone stealing your PHPBB flooding script. Later in that entry he writes "talented people" and links to his own blogger profile. The opening was supposed to establish that he's a cunt, you see.
Also, him telling me that with the tabbed extension my Firefox should be crashing every two hours, not understanding the "NAZI FIREFOCK$$$$" advertising is run entirely by fans of the browser, and finally explaining that It's not really SAFE from spyware if the user is an idiot, whereas IE is vulernable to spyware regardless of the user. Yeah, he has an opinion, and it's motherfucking stupid. I'm not going to be guilted into thinking anything else. I'd like to think of this more of "People exist, and Worm derides.".
