Fahrenheit Demo Out!

This probably doesn't mean shit to all of you, you couldn't give a damn if Quantic Dream was making another game. I'd wager you hated Omikron! Hell, you probably didn't even check up with the site periodically no matter how unlikely this new game seemed.

Well, I did motherfucker, I stayed up at night wishing, waiting, and hoping.
Demo review following.

The demo is really short and operates in a small scope of what I understand the full game to be.

Even though every game is usually an adventure, this one is specifically an adventure game. You're a man who is mutilating himself and murdering people well in a trance. But wait, there's more ... you also play as the detectives investigating these murders!

*************************************
* NOTE FOR PINNER AND HIS ILK:
* THE DETECTIVE AND THE MURDERER ARE
* NOT THE SAME PERSON. THEY ARE
* BOTH ROLES YOU ASSUME AS THE PLAYER
*************************************

That leads to all kind of possibilities, fucking up your detective's job to let your murderer do well, making your murderer a cunt rag who leaves his ID at the scene, or being a total pro on each sides! With murder scenes being each puzzle at least you can be safe from the guess that tone and stupid shape puzzles that were both included in Omikron.

In lieu of a health bar you get a mental health bar! All Pinner jokes aside!

... No, I don't kiss my mother with those GIFs. Yeah, I could have feathered it a bit, though I've been up all night and, hey, why am I making excuses here? They're fucking fine. They convey the message perfectly. If anyone wants to publish me, I swear I'll clean up the GIFs.

Certain things that the murderer does may be hidden from you. You can dispose of a murder weapon, but you won't know where. I'm playing the game with an analog stick gamepad, but it is also mouse based. If you want to squeeze one out in this game, you have to move your mouse or analog stick back and forth in long caressing and most important of all caring strokes. Now all I have to wait for is a matching detective scenario demo so I can see if the detective's mental state plummets as she/he doesn't find clues quickly enough or with enough accuracy. Let's go find the Wellbutrin powerup quick!

This demo gets 4.5 out of my 5 Celebrex, 3.9 out of my 5 Wellbutrin, and well, none of my ludes.

Fight Club called. It wants its bit back.
Am I a hero? I really can't say. But, yes.

Wait, did I suggest an alter-ego? Can't we have a motherfucking trance now-a-days without your numetal crap shitting all over it?

I'm actually kind of interested in this game just because it has music by Angelo Badalamenti, the guy who does music for lots of David Lynch stuff.

Better check the wrecking yard for alcohol-stained totalled cars with empty dimebags under the passenger seat.

Bahaha....
how about helping my brother move to Cleveland (and in the process spending a day at Cedar Point for free), getting my finances in order with a lawyer and re-negogiating the child support agreement with Blue, getting my old (non-crashed) car out of my dad's backyard and into the hands of someone who can use it, and finalizing the paperwork @ my place of employment for my week's vacation in November.
Other than that, it's been a pretty laid back couple of weeks.

I haven't made any animated .gifs, however.

Renegotiating child support AND vacation paperwork?

Well, I apologize, good sir! It would appear you do, in fact, have it all goin' on!
