I am actually hoping to unleashing a quickie for the SpringThing.

(Goodness, did I mention this already? I honestly can't recall. I hate to be tedious -- I just have a rotten memory.)

But while you're here, Mr Merk, congrats on all those tasty XYZZY nominations for Distress!!

Oh, cool! I wanted to, but never got around to it. The game I had originally started for IFComp would be perfect for the Spring Thing, but it's been collecting dust. And it's still too unfinished.

I don't think so, but that's cool! Just imagine the headlines: "Sherwin Makes Triumphant Return To Competition!"

Thanks!! I'm really psyched about that. I'd like to win at least one, but I'm prepared for none at all. It's cool just to get nominations, and I can't see Distress as the stand-out entry in any category... but maybe it will be. :)

So, are we going to see a Robb Sherwin game in the Spring Thing this year?

I'm thinking about turning my graphic adventure WIP into a CYOA for the LoTech comp. I'm still struggling for motivation, though. I know the story and I have the graphics, and I got stuck because the plot and especially the dialogue would work better if the player had less freedom -- which is why it might be right for CYOA...
