No. Having your picture colored and distorted to make you look silly and having it put up on a website can strike any family, any person, any time.

No one is safe.
Am I a hero? I really can't say. But, yes.

That woman is a whiner. Pardon me whilst I go on a Robb Sherwin-esque story on how this is correct and she is not.

About a year ago I got plagiarised. I was working on a Mystery Science Theater 3000-ing up of a truly terrible Lord of the Rings fanfiction by some 12-year-old named Crystal with a bunch of other people. I will plug it, here, just because I can: http://www.geocities.com/rivercityrandom. The thing was so long that it actually took us the better part of a year to finish the whole thing. Anyway, so about two months after we're done with the thing some brilliant lad by the pseudonym of "Simon" goes and steals it and puts his name on it. The punch line: he puts it on a sex website. The sex website is one that I will not plug here, because quite frankly I find the fact that you can still find it there on Google disturbing and wrong. What I did was to, simply, email him with my usual charming and reasonable personality, basically calling him a fucktard and demanding he take the thing down. (Which he did, amid much pathetic wheedling and bad attempts at face-saving.) This was a story that featured very personal information about a group of people, many of whom were adolescent or teenaged girls living in Canada such as their names, locations, and various and sundry facts about hteir personalities--and it was put up onto a porn site without them having any idea of it. This is far more disturbing than "omfg he messed up my face :(" but my method was still correct, and was much more effective, than whining to the media about it.
